CREATIVE DESIGNER

After graduating in Fashion at the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design, UNArte, Bucharest—both at bachelor’s and master’s level—Steff Chelaru chose a slightly different path from the one he had followed for seven years as a scenographer. He completed his studies in scenography at the National University of Theatre and Film “I. L. Caragiale”, Bucharest, in 2022. He has collaborated with numerous theatres across Romania, including the National Theatre of Bucharest, Odeon Theatre, Metropolis Theatre, Teatrul Mic, UNTeatru, the National Opera of Bucharest, Arcub, the “Elvira Godeanu” Dramatic Theatre in Târgu Jiu, the “Andrei Mureșanu” Theatre in Sfântu Gheorghe, the German State Theatre in Timișoara, the Iași Athenaeum, Masca Theatre in Bucharest, and Teatrul Grivița 53.
